Kosovo's Energy Company has again called on the residents of Hada and Shippitula not to fall prey to disinformations from individuals assigned to close personal interests, but to sign contracts that have been deemed very convenient for residents.
In a media report, KEK says residents' incompatibility has been registered and assessed at least three times by licensed and certified assessmentrs for the assessment of real estate and that the assessment has been made in full compliance with the Execlusion of Movement Policy.
This is KEK's complete communiqué:
KEK, called on the residents of Hada and Shippitula not to fall prey to dezinforms by individuals assigned with close personal interests, but to sign contracts that have been deemed very convenient for residents.
The Kosovo Energy Corporation, being convinced of the convenient offers it has offered for relocation, again called on residents of Hades and Shiptilë villages to exploit their right to announce at KEK's headquarters the Property Department to sign arrangements for relocation no later than until December 15th 2017.
Furthermore, KEK invites all residents not to fall prey to disinformations by certain individuals who, in a single sense, have procrastination of shifting procedures, personal eventual benefits, and the exhumation of parties infected in the shift procedure.
In this case, it should be suggested that the incompatibility in question has been recorded and praised at least three times by the licensed and certified assessmentrs for the real estate assessment and that the assessment has been made in full compliance with the Extremity Framework, the Kosovo government's decision and agreements reached between residents and government of the country, supervised by the licensed and specialised international company Replan. This company, like the main expertise, has implementation of relocation procedures, and is licensed and registered as such. Also, the process in question at all stages of development was closely conveyed by many parties of international and local interest, such as the Government of Kosovo Ministry of Environment and Spatial Planning, the Ministry of Economic Development, the Obilic Community, etc. Eventually, the MMPH, as the responsible authority, had supervised and approved the Development Action Plan and there were no remarks on that.
Moreover, it should be noted that because of pressure and actions by individuals, some local residents were liquefying, prolonging and obstructing recorded procedures and detailed evaluation by preventing access to the area, while external recording has been accomplished with great difficulty.
In the end, despite all, the KEK has faithfully implemented its ruling decision, has revised the Action Plan, which it has submitted to the MMPH-government of Kosovo approval and only after its approval by the ministry, has submitted bids for compensation of real estate. These offers are being received quite well at the distribution of residents, and the contract signing procedure is under way. However, there are still some hesitations on the part of some residents to be part of the shift procedures. In this direction, like KEK, we have publicly appealed to all residents for participation in this vital process for the country, announcing that participation in the prosecution of voluntary displacement and avoidance of procedures under the expropriation law, which are initiated under the country's preliminary decision by 01.12.2017.
Such a call for those residents, and we repeat again through this announcement because this is in their interest in the first place and also in the interest of accelerating the mine expansion with the aim of the production process.
Otherwise, this action, above all, should be seen as duty and national interest, but also agree with all relevant institutions and the main interest parties which have consistently made efforts for residents of the two villages to offer conditions with the highest international standards for relocation.
