Without providing financial means and launching the representative tender procedures of the Kosovo Energy Corporation have talked to several foreign energy sector companies for the possibility of investments in thermal power plants “Kosovo A” and “Kosovo B”, Koha Ditore writes today.
The meeting of the upcoming Kosovo expert mission, led by KEK Director Arben Djukaj, with senior officials from the Czech Ministry of Industry and Trade and its companies being realised several weeks ago.
Sources close to this visit have indicated that during meetings in Czechi the Kosovo delegation is directly interested in the renovation of thermal power plants “Kosovo A” and “Kosova B”. They have said they have the means to cover the cost of these projects, and that 1/3 of the costs will be covered by KEK, 1/3 from the Government budget and the rest from the European Union's IPA funds.
