No General Assembly resolution will take us away from Jerusalem”, Danny Danon said from the Assembly speaker shortly before voting on this text expected to be approved with a broad majority, but not binding.
Organised at Palestinian initiative, this vote is for a text that stresses that any decision on Jerusalem's status has no legal power and that the Jerusalem issue should be part of a final peace agreement between the Israelites and the Palestinians.
“We will take note of these” votes, was expressed a day earlier by Donald Trump from the White House, condemning all these states that receive American money and then vote against America in the Security Council, or at the General Assembly.
“They receive hundreds of millions of dollars and maybe billions of dollars, and then vote against us”, he said in the case of a meeting in front of the cabinet.
“Let them vote against us, we will spare a lot of”, he added.
