This initiative also marks, the first time, in which the Ombudsman and the Nongovernmental Organisations in co-operation sign a Joint Declaration, which calls on all acts of state power for increased commitment to the protection of fundamental human rights and freedoms equally and without discrimination.
The initiative is aimed at sending a powerful message of added comprehensive and inter-institution commitment to promoting and educating basic human rights and freedoms, as well as undertaking joint action with the aim of developing effective co-operation for respecting fundamental human rights and freedoms in Kosovo.
In this case, the Joint Declaration of Ombudsmans and Nongovernmental Organisations will be signed, and a march with the motto “will be organised for human rights “
