IMF willing to help improve quality in education

The Ministry of Education, Science and Technology through a communique for the media has indicated that Minister of Education, Science and Technology has been hosting a delegation of the International Monetary Fund, led by Stephanie Able, chief of the IMF's mission for Kosovo, with whom he has talked about the Kosovo Government's priority in the field of education.
Bytyqi, having talked about the overall situation in education and steps planned to be undertaken to improve quality, has praised the assistance the International Monetary Fund has provided in Kosovo's education sector.
We have placed our priorities in four-year governance in order to change the situation in education. Our priorities are divided into two parts: the first is to improve quality in pre-university education, and the second with higher education”, the minister Bytyqi has said.
He has also talked about the application of whole - day teaching, the profile of teachers, the orientation of junior high school students on the basis of results they achieve during schooling, harmonisation of higher education with the needs of the labour market, and other steps that are planned to be undertaken during that government.
While the chief of the FMS mission for Kosovo, Stephanie Able has thanked Minister Bytyqi for the reception, where she talked about the recent achievements in the education sector and the assistance the IMF can offer to improve educational policies in the future, so that results can be achieved in improving quality
