Kosovo Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj, in an interview for KTV's interactive show, has talked about the main topics Kosovo is currently facing.
Speaking of the demarcation agreement, he said it's now in the hands of the Parliament.
I don't know the agenda. They have the deal in the Parliament and they can put it in order this year. I voted to send the old deal to the Parliament, but we also voted Mr. Bulqi's report. The government has done the job, and now it's working at the” Assembly, he said.
Regarding how he expects MPs to vote on this agreement, Haradinaj said:
“to vote freely”.
He said MPs have two models, the Agreement and the “report, and I urge them to freely vote”.
“Even AAK let him vote freely as he wishes. I haven't changed my attitude. The deal is wrong. The Assembly has the Agreement, and it also has the latest” findings, Haradinaj said.
He said he does not know whether the vote against demarcation will affect the coalition with the PDK.
Haradinaj says he has done his job in the case after sending the Agreement to the Parliament.
“Let's see what MPs” will say, Haradinaj said, when asked how he comments on the issue that the US accepts this version of the border demarcation with Montenegro.
Kosovo's prime minister says that if the Parliament breaks down this agreement, it will negotiate with Montenegro, since, as he says, there is no bilateral agreement if an agreement falls by one side.
Even Americans and Europeans have a request for ratification. I have always told them that the Assembly does not have 2/3 to pass the” Agreement, the executive head said.
Meanwhile, for the demarcation interconnection with visa liberalisation, Haradinaj said this process could last several months.
“Even if we now vote on demarcation, visa liberalisation is a months-long process. Even if it fails, we still have a few months or weeks to give you a solution option. Even if we speed up our work and do good work in law order, we are on liberalisation for a few weeks or months. Within the first part of the new year could happen”, he said.
Regarding Kosovo's reports with international partners, Haradinaj said the demarcation issue does not harm those reports.
