Kosovo Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj said today that the government will co-operate closely with wood makers and its tasks in time to enable them to compete in world markets.

Prime Minister Haradinaj, initially thanked the students, who have created different models for products that will be “Made in Kosova”, but donors, especially USAID, for their contribution to companies that deal with wood processing.
Furthermore, Prime Minister Haradinaj commended all producers for the good work they do by congratulating them for the Fear Industry Convention.
Highly praising the wood processing tradition, Haradinaj said Kosovo has distinguished in the past throughout the Balkans for the event.
“I am deeply convinced that there are many of Kosovo's products and great masters, who do good work and who have produced products that really are for the world's most advanced markets”, the prime minister stressed, adding that Kosovo today can compete in any market.
Meanwhile, the chairman of the Association of Wood Processors, Hashim Dudishk, said the wood processing industry is one of the important areas for the Kosovo economy.
Today we boast about the work of the association, which made it possible for the wood processing industry to be recognised by all the performers in Kosovo and abroad. It made the industry's voice big and powerful always supporting the wood industry”, he said.
Lisa Magno, Deputy Director of the U Mission USAID in Kosovo highly praised developments achieved in Kosovo's wood processing industry, stressing that the government and wood processing should co-operate closely in creating new jobs.
