Finance Minister Bedri Hamza, during the Kosovo Assembly hearing, has declared that the ministry leading, respecting all legal procedures, has prepared and approved the Bill for 2018 at the Government. Hamza has pledged that during January of the year we are entering Kosovo, there will be increases in wages.

“will have salary increases, increased assistance for needy categories and other categories”, Hamza has indicated.

He has said there will be stable and sustainable economic growth, tax policies, and facilities for local producers.

In addition Hamza has said that the draft budget he introduced today in the Assembly is harmonised with all economic actors in Kosovo, but also with the IMF.

“We are convinced that we have done our best for the right distribution of public money. We focused on the preparation in 2018, given the implications for the following years”, Hamza said in the Parliament folk. This draft budget will not only be seen for 2018 but also for mid-term”, he said.

Hamza also talked about budgetary expenses. “...all policy priorities of government will be funded. The World Bank seems to be even more optimistic, with 4.8 percent projected. This increase is expected to support from the level of investment growth, consumption and export growth”.
