Greek police arrest Albanian, trafficking drugs from Himara

Greek police have indicated that they have arrested a 29-year-old Albanian during an anti-drug operation they have undertaken. Albanian is thought to be a member of the group since 24 November trafficked 1.6 tonnes of marijuana with a burmon that left Himara in Greece's direction.
According to 29-year-old Greek media, whose identity is not disclosed, told investigators that he had arrived in Greece on the order of Greek businessman Spiro Kardamis, who is accused of securing ions for the Albanian-Greek drug network.
The Albanian arrested denied any link to narcotics trafficking and clarified that on behalf of the Greek businessman would lead to a gomon in Italy. The arrest of 29-year-old brings to 12 the number of detainees, among them 7 Albanians, 2 Greeks, 2 Italians and 1 Bulgarian
