Dedicatement, long-term work and national unity are values which have characterised Finland along its 100-year journey as an independent state, Finnish Ambassador Anne Huhtamaki has said. The high standard of living, stability, quality education, rule of rule and law are some of Finland's achievements that listed Huhamaki in the interview given “Koha Ditore”. She has said Kosovo expects a job just as hard to meet its goal towards membership in the European Union.
“Finland has had to work hard to become an EU member in 1995. We had to train our people, including politicians to harmonise with the European system and legislation. So I encourage Kosovo to work in this direction, as a Finnish ambassador has said, expecting a hard job”.
Speaking of relations between the two countries, Ambassador Huhtaki has said the value of investments for the past 17 years has been 55m euros, especially in creating better opportunities and hiring young people, women, minorities and persons with special needs.
