A court in Kosovo has released nine Albanians charged with terrorist attacks against a border checkpoint in the southern part of Serbia in 2012.
This court in Pristina decided yesterday to release nine people who injured him at the border guard, saying there is no evidence they committed a crime.
International prosecutors of the European Union's mission to rule of law, which has helped Kosovo's justice system by declaring independence, have said the suspects had used automatic weapons in the attack, the AP agency reports.
These accused men were sentenced in 2013, ranging from two to nine years in prison, but after their complaint, the Supreme Court of Kosovo had highlighted procedural errors in this case.
