Saban Syla on February 9th of this year was addressed to the Constitutional Court of Kosovo, claiming that the Pristina Constitutional Court has not recognised the full time it has remained in the measure of house arrest.

Syla in December 2012 was found guilty of the criminal act of attempted murder by the District Court in Pristina, while then also by the Court of Appeals, which had proved that decision.

Following the confirmation of the sentence by the Court of Appeals, Syla had continued the procedure for calculating the sentence, where on March 29, 2016, Pristina's Constitutional Court decided to include her past time in house arrest at the time of her conviction

To this decision, Syla continued the legal dispute by addressing the Court of Appeals, which also confirmed the Constitutional Court's decision regarding last-time calculations in house arrest.

The basis for Shaban Syla's complaint was that the Court has not known the time spent in domestic arrest and that period from July 28, 2011 to March 23, 2015, at the time of trial, KALLXO reports.com

I ask not more or less than what the Constitution of the Republic of Kosovo has known to me,”, was Syla's request.

However, the Constitutional Court of Kosovo has rejected this request as unacceptable, as the pre-priced legal deadline for sending an issue to the Constitutional Court of Kosovo has been passed.

Kosovo's Constitutional Court has found that the controversial decision has been handed over to the complainers on June 7, 2016, while that Constitutional Court has been addressed only on February 9, 2017, more than 3 months after the 4-month deadline.

Shaban Syla was sentenced by being one of the accused in the public who was known as the “Blaca”, the case that was initiated after Nazim Blace's public statements. /Cashho. com/
