Changing Special Law, about 10,000 signatures are collected

And through that, KLA war veterans are aiming to change the Special Law through a petition that has started for three days.

This petition will be concluded tomorrow at 10:00 and the president of the KLA Veterans' Association, Hysni Gucati for Indexline, has said approximately 10,000 signatures have been collected so far while waiting for the 12,000 signatures to be handed over to the Assembly.

I don't know exactly the code, but there's 10,000 signatures collected. Plus there are petitions, there are some regions that I'm waiting for, but that even tomorrow until 10:00 p.m. this signatures will reach 12-13 thousand. We're sure that with 12,000 or 13 thousand signatures we're going to hand over the petition to the Assembly”, Gucati said.

He has indicated that the petition has been well received and has been highly supported by citizens.

But Gucati believes this support will also be found by MPs in the Assembly.

“We have been given support from the citizens, have come and signed it. We believe that even in the Assembly we will find support”, he added.
Even the deputy chairman of the KLA war veterans' organisation, Nasim Haradinaj, believes the petition in the Assembly will be handed over by 12,000 signatures, though according to him, very much is being worked against the petition.

This petition will be concluded tomorrow at 10:00, while the final results of the signing petition can be published at 1500.
