The BSPK says that this reaction is not taken as a threat, but as a public invitation for co-operation to get out of this non-volved situation “due to the frustrations we have received from membership and the Union Federation”.
In view of the Government's warning that salary raises will take place by January 2018, BSPK Chairman Avni Aydin has invited BSPK Executive Chiefship for January 4th, with the only point of the agenda: The steps to be taken for the Government's warning of salary raising in the public sector, only 5%?
At this meeting, according to the media announcement, it will be decided on union actions if the BSPK and the Union Federation requirements are not taken into account, but are taken with the government's unilateral decision.
The BSPK's one-time chairman invites the Union Federation to mobilise membership for consonantal union action, the union organisation law, the law on strike and collective agreement, if talks do not develop and yield results. Also B The SPK, requires understanding from Kosovo citizens if we are forced to use union actions to the general strike, of what we are aware is not good, because it causes disruptions of the teaching process, medical services, public services, legally permitted police services, cutting off products through Corporation and other consequences”, says B SPK in this reaction.
To avoid the Union's actions, the BSPK once again requires the prime minister to take time for talks, and especially considering that BSPK has a consensus agreement signed by Prime Minister Haradinaj and Chief Parliamentary Veselini, where one of the provisions of this agreement is the Government's preliminary consultation with the Union on all issues related to employees.
