Brnabic dismissed criticism about media freedom, saying the media in Serbia were completely free.
In her interview, she recalled that Serbia has an action plan under which reforms must be completed in 2020, in 2021 respectively, reports “b92”, Periscopi broadcast.
The “Reform is based on three pillars of economy, administration and rule of law. Sometimes it is necessary to change the reflection framework,” noted the Serbian prime minister.
The problem, as it explains on the economic level, has been created by attracting control of the state and reducing sales.
“Medias should change the way work and financing, which means finding stable models in Serbia, we have more than 2,000 media, which means there is a great variety of freedom and everyone can freely write what they want”, Brnabiq noted, adding that it is always open to dialogue with the media that are not feeling free.
She noted that the media are very important for democratisation of the country.
Albania's “Prime Minister visited Serbia after 68 years and even the appointment of a woman who openly claims herself gay speaks a lot about whether the government is right or not,” she noted.
“Unemployment has been halved in recent years, but it is still high at 12% and wages are still among the lowest in Europe. We still have a lot of work to do to give Serbs a better perspective and life. If the economy is good, pay and prospects for progress, the population will be less interested in hating others”, the Serbian prime minister said./Periscopi/
