Egypt has announced that two small ancient cemeteries have been discovered south of Luxor.
It is considered to date back 3,500 years, and with this step it has expressed a desire for the state to step up efforts to revive the tourism sector.
Graveyards have been found a western part of the Nile River until they are the last find in the place known for temples and tombs involving ancient Egyptian history.
The “really is an extraordinary day”, said Antiquities Minister Khaled al-Annan.
We knew there was a private cemetery, but this is the first time we've identified them”.
Al-Anani, has said the findings are another ministry attempt to revive the tourism, which has been hit hard by extremist attacks and political riots in 2011.
