Top American security adviser comments chances of a war with North Korea

The possibility of a military conflict between the United States and North Korea depends on the activities of all parties involved in the Korean Peninsula crisis, US National Security Adviser Herbert Raymond McMister told BBCovski in an interview published Tuesday. War signs, who know what [...]
War signs, who know what they are, can go up or down, I think, based on what we all decide. North Korea is a major threat to all civilized people across the globe”, McGuster said, answering a question about the possibility of an armed conflict between the United States and North Korea.
The US official added that while Washington was making efforts to resolve the crisis by peaceful means, this road to resolution was not the only option on the agenda, reports “Sputnik International” Transmission Periscope.
“We are not committed to a peaceful resolution, we are committed to a [generally] resolution. We want the resolution to be peaceful, but as the [US President] [Donald Trump] said, you know all the options are on the table and we need to be prepared if necessary to force the deregulation of North Korea without the co-operation of that regime,” he added.
The situation in the Korean Peninsula has escalated since this summer, while genus conducted a nuclear test and several missile tests, with the latest occurring on November 28, when The DPRK has yet to test the most advanced intercstinent ballistic missiles (ICBM), known as the Hasong-15, capable of achieving any targets within the United States continent.
The United States and its allies, in turn, gathered troops and military equipment in the vicinity of North Korea, where they are also engaged in military exercises.
While the US president and his national security adviser have meant a “military option” in connection with the crisis in the Korean Peninsula, members of the top administration have stressed that Washington currently relied on diplomatic means, with US Secretary of State Rex Tillerson announcing last week that Washington is ready to start direct talks with North Korea without preconditions, despite previous statements by Donald Trump expressing scepticism about negotiations with Phenani./Periscopi/
