I think that the stadium would have to be placed in Bernice, I have nothing against Drenas, but it would be better if it was placed in the capital”, Ahmeti declared.
Otherwise, the Kosovo government has made the decision to launch procedures for the construction of Kosovo's national stadium in the Drenas Economic Zone.
This government decision came after a debate weeks earlier over the location of the national stadium.
An almost same decision, but with another location, was made by the Thaci Government in March 2014. This decision has not been suspended, and a new decision was made today.
