AAK doesn't accept the outcome of elections in Istog, does not rule out complaints even in Constitutional

However, this PZAP decision is opposed by the AAK, which in local elections ran with Gani Dresey against LDK candidate Haki Rugova.

Following the rejection of the complaint, AAK leadership member Valon Tolaj has said they will not give up the result in Istog.

“AAK expresses surprise at PZAP's decision. Unacceptable how with so much ease the violation of the Constitution of the Republic of Kosovo is legitimised. Article 45 of the Constitution guarantees the right to vote to any citizen aged 18 years, even if on Election Day has reached this age”, Tolaj has said.

According to him, for PZAP citizens who have completed 18 years after October 22nd do not have the right to vote, while elections for the mayor of the Istog municipality have been held on December 17th.

This is a serious violation of the constitution, and the AAK confirms that I will continue with complaints on all scales of justice, until the Constitutional Court, and that new voters who have voted to return constitutional right.
