The Organisation for Quality Growth in Education (ORCA) has presented the report “The Academy of Professors at Pristina University”. It has been analysed by the CV of 481 professors with academic titles and regular contract on UP, with regard to scientific publications.
O The RCA has based its research on the Law provisions for Higher Education and Statistics of the University of Pristina.
And for the evaluation of scientific magazines, O The RCA has used Transparency Principles compiled by some of the largest scientific publishing organisations, as well as Bealit's list for questionable magazines and publishers.
Data is presented as: 28% of UP's professors have published at least once in suspicious journals; 72% of professors do not justify their academic titles under the provisions in force; as well as specific data for each Pristina University faculty in terms of scientific publication and title justification.
This report also presents unique data regarding the total number of scientific publications in Universities.
Professor Jeffrey Beale, founder of the Beallite List, was also present in the report's presentation.
