So said Albania's ambassador to Warsaw, Hope Kureta, during a video message on the occasion of the weekend holidays. The year 2017, according to her, drew Albania closer to Poland, especially in terms of economic co-operation.
This year, according to her, marks significant achievements between the two countries in many areas that culminated with Prime Minister Edi Rama's visit to Warsaw and the development of a successful business forum that will undoubtedly open new opportunities for future co-operation.
“Although a small community, Albanians in Poland are an asset to developing friendship among our peoples”, the ambassador said. A warm greeting, it also conveyed from the Albanian community in Ukraine that keep national identity and intense love for their homeland alive. Three-year-old <x2-year-olds have opened Albanian-language courses and young people from this community study Albanian with Tirana university programmes”, Kurta said.
The Albanian ambassador to Warsaw concluded many successes in joint efforts to boost Albania's EU membership negotiations.
