Zimbabwe's president, Robert Mugabe, has refused to leave his post immediately, even though calls for resignations are increasing.
The 93-year-old is being held under house arrest as the military has taken control of this country since Wednesday, in order to change the leader.
From the military it has become known that they are discussing Mugabe and that they have achieved progress in targeting criminals around Mugabe.
It has also been reported that several senior officials have been arrested since Wednesday.
This military action comes after President Mugabe has fired his deputy Emmerson Mnanggawa, in order to pave the way for the first lady Grace Mugabe to take up his post.
Otherwise, President Mugabe, 93, has been leading Zimbwe since this country was independent from Britain in 1980.
