Wessel Thanks Madagascar, warns other acquaintances

Kosovo Parliament Speaker Kadri Veselini has thanked Madagascar for the recognition he has made to the state of Kosovo.

“Thank the state of Madagascar for recognising the state of Kosovo. Kosovo will have many more recognitions and will move quickly on the road towards UN membership and other international institutions”, Veselin has written on his Facebook profile.

Wessel, weeks earlier, had invited the Vice President of the Senate of Madagascar, who had asked Madagascar to recognise Kosovo's independence during the meeting and for both countries to deepen co-operation.

At this meeting, the official from Madagascar had promised to convey Kosovo's request for recognition.
