Next week veterans are expected to receive salaries

Labour and Social Management Ministry Secretary Izedin Bytyqi has said veterans' salaries will not be delayed and that they will be paid soon, while adding that this process is expected to be completed by next week.

Bytyqi has said it is only expected to decree the revision, and veterans will be paid for months they did not receive salaries. We think they haven't been paid since August.

“After the revision is decreed and as soon as the tools are docked to the MPMS budget, we will immediately make payment of all pension obligations for veterans”, Bytyqi for Koha.net said.

The Kosovo government has allocated 26m euros to cover the pensions of KLA war veterans.
