Thousands of citizens today have participated in the prayers and protest march organised by the V Movement ON the first anniversary of the violent death of Astrit Dehar, in Prizren prison on November 5, 2016.
With the motto “Justice for Astrin”; organisers have given deadline to the Government of the Republic of Kosovo, which until February 5, 2018, allow and launch independent and comprehensive investigations under the request of the Dehari family and the lawyer; as well as to dismiss them from official positions to open up the investigation: The gift Hoxha (former Justice Minister, now Minister of Integration), Shpend Maxun (Police Director General), Nexmi Krasniqi (Central Police Commander in Prizren) and Fatos Makolli (Director of the Anti-Terrorism Unit).
These demands were submitted by V Movement Chairman EVIDENCE! Visar Ymer, in the protest march that started from the National Library and which continued up to the Government of Kosovo with calls “The Justice for Astrit” and “I am Astri”. The state's “Ogans have direct responsibility in this case. Even in death as such in prison, Astrit was unjustly deprived of freedom of security. Even in preventing an independent investigation that is hindering the whitelight of”, Ymer stated.
In his speech, MP Albin Kurti named Astrit Deharin as the nation's newest witness. Your fall proves that our people are still on the move and that they have not surrendered. Kosovo has not even been subjected to very tough rulers of the invading countries, and certainly it will not be subjected by this thief and killer cast, Kurti has said.
The march also featured Egzon Penish, a friend of Astri and Dean Hajdini, a family member.
At midday, hundreds of fellow Christians, family members, friends, and different citizens homazhed at the tomb of Astrit Dehar. The father, mother, sister, and widow's wife of Astret, who put flower breads at Astro tomb and the tomb of Arbanor, the other son of Avni and Jamie Dehari, who had died under unexplained circumstances in 11,06.2014. His father, Avni Dehari, has thanked those present for coming to share the pain with his family, stressing that the Dehari family will always be in activities that lead to the life of the national ideal.
The stand of his parents and the Astritus ' family, MP Glauk Konjufca, described him as an outstanding example that helps us to remain upright and to be courageous. The past” Kosovo government must take responsibility for Astri's death. As the trial process is under way against VV activists is seen as being mounted and backward political, so this power and past government should especially assume the direct responsibility for the death of Astrut Dehar at Prizren's” prison, Conjufca has said.
Otherwise, Movement V It distances itself from the color thrown toward the government building. These actions have not been part of the organizational agenda and are simultaneously unacceptable.
Astria, it's our star that never fails!
Glory to short life, but the great work of Astrit Dehar!
