Of the approximately 1 million and 800 thousand voters, only 800 thousand were registered in the 2013 municipal elections. In the run-off, however, there were fewer registered voters and voted 300 thousand people by little.
This is usually the case in Kosovo. A large number of those who vote in the first round do not appear at all in the second.
Polytologists explain why this usually happens.
Arbnor Sadiku, politicalologist says the voting number falls in the runoff since there is no competition for assemblyists as well.
While political analyst Nedmedin Spahiu claims that a lower turnout is expected in the run-off than in local elections sometime in 20 or less.
The runoff race is expected to be held on 19 November in 19 Kosovo municipalities.
In the first fair vote guard in all of Kosovo, there were 1,888,059 registered voters, of whom voted 812 thousand.
