Tillerson stressed that the United States knows that the situation in the Balkans is the fragile “” and will continue to work “with partners in the European Union to bring stability, prosperity and democracy to the region”, REL reports.
Furthermore, as written on the US State Department Web site, addressing people in the Balkans, Secretary Tillerson said that “you have the chance to run a new course of history” and that the bloody “lines should no longer be the line of battle”.
The United States and the world want to see a new generation of Serbs, Croats, Albanians, citizens of Bosnia, Kosovars, and others, who will forgive the past, even if they will never forget it”, US Secretary of State Rex Tillersson said during his speech at Wilson Center.
