Jusuf Thaci has dedicated a public letter to Vetevendosje founder Albin Kurti.
He, he has cited the consideration and appreciation he has about him, as well as the reforms he thinks should be done with the growth of Vetevendosje, verified with the last two election processes, writes Periscope.
Therefore, I consider it the last time you personally and LVV to make your attitude clear about such behavior, to distance yourself from them publicly and offer guarantees that such actions will no longer be repeated by LVV and on behalf of LVV. If such actions have been isolated accidental cases, then distance from them is not at all problematic, and if such actions have been organized, then the LVV must also distance itself from actions and organisers and the executions of these actions. If those who support and law such actions are more and more powerful within LVV than you and those who support you, then you have two choices before you: 1) to conquer such a mind within LVV and turn LVV into the right tracks. If you don't, then 2) leave the LVV along with all those inside LVV who think and believe like you, while those who are left come out and ask for the support of the people, let them experience the rejection and contempt that the people will offer you, writes Thaci.
Below we publish the complete letter of Yusuf Thaci:
Public letter Albin Kurti
Dear Albin,
I know enough to know that you're modest and that you're against the mythation of the individual. This public letter of mine to you has no intention of affecting your modesty or myth. However, to many in Kosovo and abroad, you are more than an ordinary individual, you are the personification of an idea, an concept, an ideology, a political philosophy. Neither you nor those who love you nor those who hate you can ignore that fact. As a result, you wanted to, if not everyone, identify Vetevendosje (LVV) with you. Moreover, I, like many others, believe that you are the most influential person in LVV, no matter what position or function you do in LVV, (Despite my belief that not everything in LVV has gone into harmony with your beliefs). So, given all that I said, just like such a person I'm addressing publicly.
Albin, we've known each other a long time since the KAN. I am convinced that you are aware that I am not one of those who offer unconditional support for anyone or anything, as I offer no conditional support for personal favors or interests. My support of someone or something is based solely on ideals, beliefs, values, and common principles. From this, from the beginning and over and over again, as far as I have known and as I can, I have supported you and the movement that you have founded, the LVV, always believing and hoping that, sooner or later, Kosovo will be governed by a political subject and the right people, such as LVV with most of its people. Now that the LVV has grown significantly factored in Kosovo, I no longer fear it will not come to power, I fear its coming to power. This fear of me has to do with how the LVVV approach to her past will manage her future. So I decided to publicly write you, and through you the entire LVV, for at least three important things that I wish and hope you take seriously.
1. Albin, you've already been a public figure in Kosovo for 20 years. You have challenged and challenged many, the conqueror of the violent Serbian trial, the Albanian servilist policy of the 1990s, the multi-national UNMIK administration in Kosovo, the European EULEX mission in Kosovo, the ill-governance in Kosovo, Kosovo institutions, the unfair and ultra-liberal policies of the powerful in Kosovo, etc. All this time, you've maintained righteous, often radical attitudes that you've defended with consistency and persistence, publicly and actively. For any position you've considered politically, nationally and morally legitimate, you've argued well and protected it at all costs, without silence, without hiding, without a red-headed front.
We've seen you roll international cars, roll trucks with Serbian products, drop tear gas into the Kosovo Assembly, etc. You've done all of this publicly, for the sake of certain political causes, you've protected them, argued about them, and justified them politically, despite being anti-legal acts. So We supported you on this occasion and in the like thereof. But, we've never seen you take masked action in protests, raping Kosovo police, burning with Kosovo's Moldovan institutions, dragging people out of their cars, hitting people in television studios, and so on. I'm convinced that if such legitimate and acceptable actions were for you, you would be the first to do them publicly, because we have enough evidence that you're not afraid to take actions that are acceptable to you, regardless of whether they're against the law and whatever the world may be.
I'm convinced that both inside and outside LVV there are those who believe that such actions have empowered the LVV, but whoever believes so must know that the opposite is true. It is such actions that have delayed the coming of LV to power in Kosovo for years because the public does not want and does not accept such legitimate, nationally and politically. And this delay in LVV's coming to power has greatly damaged Kosovo, not only the LVV.
So I consider it the last time you and LVV can make your attitude clear about such behavior, distance yourself from them publicly and offer guarantees that such actions will no longer be repeated by LVV and on behalf of LVV. If you don't, then 2) leave the LVV along with all those inside LVV who think and believe like you, and let those left come out and seek the support of the people, let them experience the rejection and contempt that the people will offer you.
However, I am convinced that the first solution is possible and I hope and hope that soon we will see an LVV clearly distanced and no longer allows in its name unacceptable and illegal acts morally, nationally and politically. Because exactly such an LVV needs Kosovo today and tomorrow in power.
2. Albin, recently, especially since the state elections in 2017, we have seen a major change in the nature of actions and public discours, yours and the LVV in general, specifically discours. In this regard, objectively-poor critics have accused you of inconsistencies and inaction. Deafness against them, their criticism is worthless. Because this change of actions and your discretion and LVV is both principled and natural and necessary. Initially, LVV has been a handful of people and later a small parliamentary party with little decision-making weight in Kosovo institutions. Being such, it has normally required aggressive discurs and very radical actions to draw attention, impose public debate, raise concerns and protect the cause politically, nationally and morally upright and legitimate.
But now LVV is not a handful of people, not even a small party. LVV is the largest parliamentary party in Kosovo and leads with three municipalities, two of which are the largest municipalities in Kosovo, including the capital. Consequently, LVV should behave as the largest party because it already has enough public voice and decision-making powers in institutions. It is the reality in Kosovo that has changed, and with it the LVV has to change. Therefore, LVV cannot and should not now use the discurs method of small groups or parties.
If you believe this challenge has already been overcome and LVV has eventually adopted it and adapted to this new role (with discours' actions), I think you're wrong. As far as discours can be said, great progress has been noted, especially at the high level of figures representing the LVV in public (although there is still a slip), but there is still much work left to obey other levels of structures and LVV supporters to absorb the new disk. And, in terms of behavioral behavior, although progress has been noted in this respect recently, I think you still have a lot of work to be convinced that you have to act in accordance with the new role and reality, and that's worth almost all the levels within the LVV, less and more.
This challenge can only be considered past when all in LVV -- from the simple activist to the mayor, privately and publicly, officially and informally -- behave in accordance with the new spirit, with the new reality, with discours' actions that characterize the largest party in the country. Of course, this means that LVV should become more institutional, literally, not in the sense that other political parties in Kosovo have corrupted the word/conceptre <x0-instativeist”. The LVV can also become more institutional by establishing and protecting political attitudes and causes, even by not becoming servile and not being subject to anyone, even by protesting injustice and inequality, even by being consistent and principled, even by fighting evil, etc.. And exactly such an LVV needs Kosovo today and tomorrow in power.
3. Albin, a day after the first round of the 2017 local elections, which showed that LVV didn't win as much as LVV and others in Kosovo had expected, you were the first and only high-ranking LVV official to seek self-criticism within the LVV for this result. This was a hopeful one for me and for many in Kosovo. I don't know what happened and whether there's been a self-creatic process within the LVV in the meantime, so I want to ask you all of LVV to make sure that your self-critics isn't just an expression you use, but to turn it into one of the most powerful beliefs within LVV, because self-criticism is the best vaccine and maybe the only against self-matision. One who is not self - sacrificing believes in perfection. Any spiritual person who believes that he is perfect then becomes self - rebellious and unimproved is, therefore, either harmful to society. So make sure that self-critics, theoretically and virtually, is high in the hierarchy of LVV values and principles and is implemented by all and consistently in LVV.
But since LVV is already the largest parliamentary party in Kosovo and the government with three municipalities, two of which are the largest and most important municipalities in Kosovo, so considering that the LVV already has great real influence and will soon rule with Kosovo, you should not be willing only for self-critics, but also for criticism from abroad. And to prepare for that, you have to consider a few things. You should know that you haven't been and you can't be perfect in government. You should know that for the assessment of LVV governance, the governance of others in Kosovo should not be taken for comparison. Supporting points for the assessment of LVV governance should address the needs of citizens combined with the real opportunities that governance has available. Therefore, you should be open, even grateful, to any principled criticism that values you from this standpoint.
As for how to distinguish genuine and principled criticism from malicious, biased, malicious, angry, unprincipled criticism, I believe it will be very easy. Those who have reviled and criticized you when you were weak, helpless, and far away from power will initially be silent until you turn around, and then you'll be supporting “as much as you are empowered and as close to power. These guys own this “port” very well, so you should be careful and closed by their “support” rather than criticism. And the other “ ” is us who supported you just when you were weak, helpless, far from power and when you had the whole world against you. Now that you've been empowered, you have power ( tomorrow you'll have even more power), you know that we, the former critics of power and power, and your former supporters, when you were powerless and powerless, will criticize you, of course, with principleal criticism. And it is very important to never forget that we are not the ones to change position, we will continue to remain as critical of power. It will be you who will change your position, since because of the new reality you will be different in power. Remember this fact when you judge our criticisms and become fully open and correct against criticism and critics. Because exactly such an LVV needs Kosovo today and tomorrow in power.
Dear Albin,
From the beginning of this scripture, I mentioned all the challenges you've experienced and you've overcome those many, truly big, truly extraordinary! But to be sure that the next challenge is the biggest challenge: challenging yourself to your own creature, the LVV, in order to succeed, ensuring that LVV will not be a repeat of the other Kosovo political parties. Only then does Kosovo have hope for a good future. If you win this challenge, all your previous sacrifices and challenges remain meaningful and meaningful, while losing this challenge, all your previous sacrifices and challenges remain only a history story without final results, or worse, with final results in dissonance and controversy with all those sacrifices and challenges.
I really wish you success in overcoming this challenge, Albin! If you value my help in this process, then consider this my public letter to help and support me first.
Honestly,
Yusuf Thaci

P.S.:
1. I've been wanting to write this letter and publish it since the shooting scandal in television studio by LVV deputy and the incontinence of LVV measures against this behavior of its deputy, but because it's been the time of the election I haven't done it, because I didn't want any letter I wrote to hurt the LVV in this election.
2. Just because of that scandal and the proper LVV reaction to it I have abstained from any direct public support for LVV in these local elections. So let those who consider my public support to be of no importance and no importance consider this even my criticism.
3. In my opinion LV is the only hope for Kosovo, so it is very important that it be on track. So, as a citizen of this country, I am not interested in LVV as a goal in itself, but as a political subject that has given evidence that it will provide the right model of governance in Kosovo, that is, a good future for the citizens of this country.
4. I am fully aware that in this writing I have created many enemies, but equally aware, I strongly believe that enemies of good do not need me as friends!
