The attack took place at the Baptist Church in Sutherland Springs, a small town in Wilson Canton. Victims are between the ages of five and 72.
Suspect of the attack was found dead in his vehicle a few miles from the scene.
Police said the author was a young white man, but the American media identified him as Dave Patrick Kelley, 26. Kelley was reportedly discharged from the US Air Force in 2014 after being convicted of assaulting his wife and child. The motive for killing is still unclear.
