A shocking case has been discovered by surgeons in India, where a young man has been found to have a pound [1 kg] of wood and plastic.
Arjun Sah had terrible pain and, after checks, surgeons discovered in his stomach the compound of wood and plastic.
According to local media, the 16-year-old was dependent on chewing plastic and wood, but this was discovered only after the young man arrived at the hospital.
After 3 successful surgical interventions, doctors managed to extract from their son's stomach the extent of terrible pain.
The boy's mother thanked doctors who saved her 16-year-old life, but added that Arjun already needs ongoing consultation on the addiction that nearly claimed her life.
