Justice Minister Abelard Tahiri hosted Kosovo Specialised Chambers Speaker Ekaterina Trendafilova at the meeting today, as well as Specialised Chambers Administrator Fidela Donlon, who has been negotiating the mandate of these chambers and co-operation with Kosovo's responsible institutions.
During the meeting, Minister Tahiri stressed the assurance of a fair, transparent process and in line with higher human rights standards and standards.
Tahiri announced the parties for steps taken by the Kosovo government to ensure legal protection and technical assistance for all Kosovo citizens who could be presented before them.
He also initiated the readiness of Kosovo institutions to fulfil obligations stemming from the Law for Specialised Chambers and the Specialised Prosecutor's Office, approved by the Assembly of Kosovo.
