Simens, EULEX judge, resigned on Thursday that seriously shaken the European mission.
The court, however, rejected Limaj's request as unnecessary.
Just hours after a British judge Simmons said in an interview for the French newspaper “Le Monde” that he had resigned because of EULEX “corruption in EULEX”, Limaj had demanded that he be called as a defence witness in the procedure against him, writes today “Koha”.
Simpson, as the paper recalls, told “Mond” that EULEX intended to weaken political figures like Fatmir Limaj.
Lima stressed that the declaration supports his doubts and added that he had allied from the start that his case was politically motivated.
However, the court reportedly rejected his request because it considers it unnecessary.
“EULEX is not a mission to promote rule and law, it is a political mission. Anyone who thinks otherwise is naive or stupid”, Simon concluded.. /Periscopi/
