The UN Security Council today disputes developments in Kosovo in the quarterly period from 16 July to 15 October this year.
In the report by UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres, who will serve as the basis for questioning members of the Security Council, notes, in addition, that the “efforts of Kosovo institutions to maintain the peaceful environment in the long period of political uncertainty following legislative elections on June 11th<1>.
In addition, the report points out that an important part of realising goals is also <x0-progress stable in normalising reports between Belgrade and Pristina”.
The report published on the United Nations Security Council's Web page also says that in Pristina's political dialogue, Belgrade, facilitated by the European Union, “requires commitment and acceptance that implementation of agreements signed in 2013 is often delayed”.
High-level agreements, older ones and new ones only make sense if supported by broad-based support and action by both sides”, the report stresses.
