The new regulations offer the Russian government greater control over the internet, halting the VPN services, which allow for anonymous internet texting.
Russian lawmakers in July of this year decided on new rules regarding anonymous Internet use.
Services known as the VPN allow users to have access to websites blocked by replacing their IP addresses and hiding the real physical location.
The software for anonymous internet navigation is very popular in Russia, broadcasts Kosovas Press.
Under the new rules, The VPN will request registration on state media monitor Roskomnadzor within 30 days.
Internet services are bound to block web access to sites included in Roskomnadz blacklist within three days.
Prior to signing the new rule on the VPN last summer, President Vladimir Putin has issued the command to establish the strategy by 2030, which enables the government to have greater control over the internet.
