The hero of the Chote Galica people today will be commemorated at an academy, attended by Republic of Kosovo President Hashim Thaci.

Chhote Galica was born in 1895 in Drenica. She was a prominent fighter of Kosovo's rebel Cetre for the liberation and national union of all Albanian countries and for a democratic state regime in Albania. Disregarding enemy terror and the harsh laws of religion and the canon fought heroicly for 12 years against Serb, Austro and Bulgarian invaders.
Chhote Galica participated in more than 40 important shares against the enemy. He consistently rejected the Belgrade regime's violence and terror policy against the Albanian population, expropriation and deportation, and the Slavic colonisation of Albanian trends.
In 1919 he took part in the Dukagini Raraps uprising, while in 1922-1923 he fought for the protection of the Yunik Neutral Zone, which served as the basis for Kosovo and Malta uprising.
In July 1924, he participated in protecting Drenica's free zone. In July 1924, after the death of her husband, Azem Galica, continued fighting at the head of his case.
Along with hundreds of Kosovo fighters in December 1924, he fought against the Serb and bijlogardeist interventationist armies and the forces of Ahmet Zogu. He lost in combat by the massacre of Serbs 22 family members.
On July 3rd 1927, Shote Galica settled in Albania, where she died in Fushe Kruje abandoned by the government of Zogu.
