This is the Qumanova Group lawyer: After sentences from the former hearing, this will be our step

The group's lawyer “Koumanova”, Naser Raufi, has called the court's “corrupts of the former regime”, until the 746-year prison sentence for 32 members, has said it has been expected. In a pronomation for “Index”, the defender of this group, has explained that he is awaiting the written bias in order to file a complaint.

There were seven life sentences from 13 to 20 years in prison. We've been waiting for this as a line of defense since it's the trial of a corrupt former regime, so I guess that's the last item planted because there's going to be changes. We cannot do the complaint without taking the offense in writing. When we have the deadline, we'll go to the Appeals Court, we're right about two complaints. We are looking forward to this in writing to see how this decision has been reasoned about, said he.

Raufi has declared he has received support from internationals to handle the case. According to him, until the subject goes into their hands, there will be no justice.

Until the internationals interfere in this case, nothing will be cleared. We had some contacts and they promised to take the case. We have been waiting for no evidence of our”, he said.

Raufi has suggested that tomorrow the trial for Kosovar Sylejman Osmani, who was extradited, will be held, and a special trial will be held.

Regarding this session, the lawyer of 12 of the convicts has said he expects no change from today's judgment of members of the group “Koumanova”.

We remember that today 32 members of this group, 7 of them in life sentences, and four others have been acquitted.

The armed conflict that had occurred in the Trima Quarter between the Macedonian Security Forces and the so-called “Qumanova” group, in May 2015, had left eight police officers and ten members of the armed group dead.
