Pristina University is politicised

Pristina University is influenced by politics. There are politicised people and coming from political parties. That is the student assessment, saying it is not the only institution that has political influence.

Hello Bytyqi, a student at Pristina University, believes he has political influence on this education institution.

The “Yes, it does, but it's not very dependent on how to get into the core of policy”, she said.

Student Denis Bajraktari has the same attitude, saying that as many as the reactor are politicised.

“Yes, there are politicised professors, politicised boards, rectors, different deans are politicised”, he has told Radio Free Europe.

However, the next student, Ekrem Preten, estimates that even those who are not involved in politics are not left behind.

I think that even at the University of Pristina, the political impact on as in any other aspect within Kosovo is noted. However, it is not such a big impact for those who are not involved in politics to remain behind”, he stated.

While I'm not facing myself, I don't know, but with what I haven't heard from, I think there's politicization”, said Inva Zaymi, a student at the UP.

For Jethlir Kryeziu, also a student, politicization is a little hidden.

“Politisation is probably a bit hidden because there are many ministers who have been in the government, but they already teach”, he said.

In general, students say political rivalries must remain outside the university

Moreover, a number of legalists at the University of Pristina are part of political parties. Some have party positions and political institutions.
