In the race for the capital, Vetevendosje's Shpend Ahmeti is in the lead with 237 votes to the Arban Abrashi counterCandidat (LDK). According to preliminary results, Ahmeti has won 41 thousand 401 votes (50.14), while Arba Abashi has 41 thousand 164 (49.86).
