Ilirjan, Egzon, Bldjan and Edon Saramati, along with accused Bjeshcan Bandallaj, who were charged with the attack carried out on November 28th 2016, against the Turkish consulate in Prizren on Friday have been convicted by the Constitutional Court in Prizren. The court's chief, Artan Seyran, has declared the prosecution to be acquitted of endangering persons under international protection, while sentenced to one year in prison each, due to general danger, the Law on Justice broadcasts.
The accused, within the one-year prison sentence, will also be counted as the time spent in house arrest and house arrest of November 28, 2016, until August 27, 2017.
Similarly, the court has decided to seize the car with which the accused committed criminal acts, and each of the accused has charged with procedures of 200 euros.
While the parties in the procedure have been informed of their right to complaint if they are not satisfied with the court's decision within 15 days after they accept the written - form judgment.
On February 22nd 2017, the Constitutional Prosecutor in Prizren has filed charges against Ilirija, Egzon, Edon Saramati's Bldjan and Bjeshcan Bandallaj, with which he accused them of committing the criminal work of endangering persons under international protection and causing general danger.
According to the indictment in question, the accused, on November 28, 2016, in the early hours of the morning, with a “Pic Up” vehicle, having received gasoline at one of the gasoline pumps, has approached the Turkish consulate in Prizren and the same was attacked by “kokate Molotov”.
The Actakuz describes how accused Edon Saramati has stood near the vehicle parked near the consulate, Bledjan and Egzoni have watched the terrain around the consulate, while Ilirjan Saramati and Bjeshcan Bandallaj have thrown a Molotov cocktail into the consulate.
The prosecution's body claimed that those accused of such actions have seriously risked the freedom of consul and others in that consulate.
