The goods with the destination of Kosovo, or those this country exports to other countries occupy about 10% of the total volume of goods that have been processed in the canats of Durres port. 10 per cent of the goods that have been processed in the East Terminal and in that of the General goods at the Durres Port have turned to the Republic of Kosovo, or ships are loaded with goods that have arrived from Kosovo.
According to APD Statistics Sector data, in the first five months of this year, nearly 608 thousand tonnes of total goods have been processed in these two terminals, writes Koha Ditore today.
Kosovo's businesses have significantly increased their presence in the Durres seaport through the transfer of goods from this port by occupying 10 percent of the total volume of import-export to Kosovo.
Melamine, glass, cement, metal and superfosphate are import goods that have continued the drive from the Durres Port towards the Kosovo market. While specialised ships are loaded at the Durres Port with the Zincu mineral coming from “Trepca” in Durres to proceed towards the ports of Western countries.
