Pope Francis is considering plans to allow married men to disgurging Catholic priests in remote areas where there is a shortage of clergy.
The pope is considering proposals raised by Bishops in Brazil, who complain that some areas are administered only by a priest several times a year.
According to the proposals, experienced married men of faith known as the church's proquester will be able to join the priesthood.
