A decision by the Electoral Panel for Ances and Paraseta (PZAP) for recounting the runoff votes in the municipalities of Pristina and Prizren before conditional and postal votes were counted, urged Vetevendosje Movement to demand the annulment of that decision by the Supreme Court.
Therefore, the complaint filed by the subject that came first in the municipalities of Pristina and Prizren after publishing the preliminary results, he received positive answers from the Supreme Court.
On Saturday, the Supreme Court's panel of judges approved Vetevendosje's complaint against PZAP's decision leading to recounting the ballot boxes in Pristina.
The Supreme Court's “Colegy has made a decision to be accepted as based on the complaint of political subject Vetevendosje, and to change the decision PZAP, which has thus denied the political subject's complaint, the Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK) -- headquartered in Pristina, with which it has asked to recount the invalid ballot” -- says the Court's decision.
A day after the Supreme Court's act, the Central Election Commission (KQZ) counted conditional and mail votes in the municipality of Pristina and Prizren.
The Vetevendosje movement came out to win elections in the capital, with Shpend Ahmeti winning a four-year term. Similarly, the Visar Ymer party triumphed in Prizren, where Mytaher Haskuka had run.
But these results have not been accepted by the two opposing VV parties in the two municipalities that contested the outcome of the November 19th elections: PDK and LDK.

LDK rejects results in Pristina, Dragash
The Democratic League of Kosovo, through a response to the media following the provisional vote count in Pristina, said it wants “to use all constitutional and legal mechanisms to protect the will of citizens expressed in local elections, separately in cases in which irregularities are recorded, such as Pristina and Dragashi”.
Isa Mustafa's party, in this response, considered that the Supreme Court's decision against re-counting in Pristina violates the constitutional right of the LDK candidate, because, as he said, does not give it transparently to prove the results through the recount process.
Meanwhile, The PDK branch in Prizren said it recognises it as the winner of the second round of local elections only its candidate, Sacir Totaj, bypassing the Supreme Court's judgment.
