Government officials say the current executive is doing things with a new dynamic, and stress that the opposition's role is to monitor power and give its options.
Halil Matoshi, director of the Office for Public Communication at the Haradinaj Government, has said Saturday about news.net, that the Kosovo government is committed to doing the tasks it owes and that there is no time to spend on opposition parties' plans.
Kosovo's “government is doing its jobs with a new dynamic and according to the logic of implementing ideas, projects and decisions, while in democracy the opposition has its role in controlling power and producing its alternative”.
The Hardinaj government has no time to spend on the opposition's views when and how they will sign or file no-confidence motions, because it is entirely the work of the Kosovo Assembly”, Matoshi has said of the news.net.
Opposition parties have been declared working on a plan to oust the government by means of a no-confidence motion.
Such a thing days ago has been said by LDK deputy chairman Lutfi Haziri. He has said the LDK, after the end of the second round of local elections, will consider the opportunity to launch procedures for the collapse of the government.
The opposition, which aims to bring down the government in early spring, which since the first day of its formation has assessed as short-lived, also hopes MPs from the ruling coalition ranks will support the initiative to overthrow the government.
But Matosh says the executive is stable.
The “government is stable and all dictatorships are functioning in the best possible way”, it is expressed.
The government led by Prime Minister Haradinaj has been voted in the Assembly on 9 September by 61 votes for and one against.
