Russian authorities have arrested more than 260 people during a nationalist rally in downtown Moscow at the National Festival “Union Day”.
The protest monitor, OVD, has announced that the number of detainees is 300, the largest of the figures the Interior Ministry has presented.
T News Agency The ASS, an anonymous official quoted him as saying that most of the detainees carried cold weapons.
Reuters reports that police detained dozens of people on the streets of Moscow, even though none of them were carrying banners.
