Just how many millions are needed for Pristina Stadium

Pristina Stadium is stuck and renovated, since at least 4m euros are needed for the completion of the facility in the capital.

The Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports, the Pristina municipality and the Kosovo Football Federation have great hope of Kosovo playing the preliminary cycle of the 2020 European Championship, right in Pristina.

MKRS Minister Kujtim Gashi says the stadium has found it in this situation, but adds that in the first days it has acted on the project, making a statement on the additional part of the project. He underlines that the ministry is at the end of the administrative procedure, and the rest will remain the operator to do its job as required by contract.

He is optimistic that the stadium will be ready for March next year.

“I believe that according to procedures that have been developed so far, we will achieve that by March we will have this part completed, even though perhaps this will dictate our climate conditions”, Minister Gashi told KTV.

And, on the other hand, Pristina municipality chairman Shpend Ahmeti said that the municipality signed memorandum of understanding with the ministry since Kosovo's accession to the U FIFA EFA, and they take over the works at the stadium that belongs to the Pristina municipality.
