Merkel Party Aims for Big Coalition With Opposition SP

These comments were made after a four-hour meeting of CDU leaders in Berlin, while lawmakers are considering ways to move forward, as the effort to form coalition with greens and free Democrats has failed in the past week.
Failure in these talks has questioned the fourth possible consecutive mandate of Mrs. Merkel for German Chancellors.
SPD leader Martin Schulz earlier said his party would not enter the big coalition for the third time with the CDU, as allied SPD parties failed to achieve satisfactory results in the September 24th elections.
According to a newer opinion investigation, 52% of Germans support forming the major coalition.
