Finance Minister Bedri Hamza has been hosting Luxembourg Embassy chief Anne Dostert, who thanked her for her close contribution and co-operation with Kosovo institutions, in particular for supporting Kosovo by the state of Luxembourg, as well as expressing confidence that this co-operation will continue in the future.
Hamza announced the head of Luxembourg Dostert Embassy for arrivals in this quarter, plans and strategies for 2018, for the budget of 2018, as well as for the priorities of the Government and the plan to address challenges in the area of economic growth and the preservation of fiscal macro-indicators, as well as for commitment to empowering the private sector as carrying economic growth in the country.
While, Dostert expressed her state's readiness for expanding co-operation with Kosovo in all areas of mutual interest, especially in the area of economic development.
The minister and ambassador also discussed the importance of signing the agreement on eliminating double taxes between the two countries, which testifies to deepening greater co-operation between our two countries, in diplomatic reports, motivating investments in the two states, exchanging experiences for the two tax administrations.
It also became known that this agreement is expected to be signed soon in Luxembourg.
