Edmond Gashi, from the German Information Centre for Migration, Professional Training and Carriera, says the number of illegal immigrants from Kosovo is still high.
The German Information Centre for Migration, Professional Training and Carriere (DIMAK), since three years, offers information and advice in Kosovo about conditions for legal migration in Germany, opportunities for education and professional skills in Germany and practical opportunities in Kosovo and Germany.
DIMAK, is one of the components of the global programme” Migration and Development Program”, which is financed by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Co-operation and Development.
In an interview for DW, Edmund Gashi, national co-ordinator at the DIMAK office in Pristina, says that at least 46 thousand people, mainly of new age, have sought information and advice in this office. However, the number of people who emigrate illegally according to the Kosovo Ministry of Internal Affairs continues to be high, though in far smaller figures than in 2015. / DW
