Last few weeks, I've reported several corruption cases within the mission. In particular, I have raised the issue of punishing my e-mail by another EULEX judge. I've asked the British Office on Foreign Relations and the EU to send the case to the police. Both refused to support me”, Simmons said.
He has continued on other charges against the mission, naming it purely political.
“EULEX is not the mission of promoting rule and law. It's a political mission. Anyone who thinks otherwise is naive or foolish,” said Simmons.
He has been the judge since the beginning of the mission in 2008, until 2014 he has headed the EULEX Court Assembly.
