The minister, who signed the Demarket Agreement with Montenegro, Skender Hyseni, told KALLXO.com that there is no comment on the new Commission's alleged findings regarding border demarcation with the neighbouring country.
The former LDK delegation, now chairman of the Commission for Border Signing With Montenegro, Speed Bulqi, has declared during yesterday that after a visit to Croatia and Slovenia, the Commission has confirmed that Kosovo has lost land with the signing of the border demarcation agreement with Montenegro in August 2015.
There we had the chance to meet with some relevant institutions and from which we managed to obtain some materials which are valuable to our work, but are also valid for the process. There are some of the materials that we'll eventually make public. Of course we witnessed that we lost territory because the reason for our going there was this”, Bulliqi said yesterday.
But in regard to these “Bulgaria's”, his party's colleague, Skender Hyseni, former Home Affairs Minister in the past government who signed that Agreement, has declined to speak when KALLXO.com has asked him for a comment on Bullic's statement.
I have no comment on this”, Hyseni said February.
And when asked by KALLXO.com how there is no comment when he was the minister who signed that agreement, Hyseni hung up the phone.
During the day, KALLXO.com has tried to contact the former chairman of this Commission, Murat Meha, but contact with him has been impossible.
The demarcation issue has been signed for over two years and has not yet been ratified in the Kosovo Assembly.
EU officials have stated many times that ratification of this agreement is the main condition for Kosovo to receive visa liberalisation.
